In modern days the sport has three main areas or disciplines.

• Racing

There is a World Cup circuit that runs from December through to April. These events are held in, typically, the Alpen countries of Europe from the Czech Republic to Switzerland. These World Cup events are run as a seasonal campaign with the competitor with the most points being declared the World Champion at the end of the season.

• Leisure

This is increasingly becoming a more popular sport. There are now 86 Brenter Partnerships that hire out Snowbikes® around the world. It is, arguably, one of the safest ski sports to participate in. • Adpative Snowbikes

Snowbike Scotland provides a fun and enjoyable experience for individuals or groups that are unable to participate in more conventional ski or snowboard activities and require adaptive ski equipment and/or special instruction and support.
